All has been going swimmingly here in Norway! The last few weeks I have been very busy preparing and teaching classes for a variety of different subjects and students with varying English proficiency. Some topics include:

• Money in American politics (for which I created a GREAT simulation, if I do say so myself)
• Presidential campaign ads
• Differences between British and American English
• American culture and values
• Media bias
• How to write a headline
• Censorship

I have also been busy working at the NMBU writing center, reading and grading papers as well as helping students with their academic writing. It appears I am also the go-to graphic design guy, as I have redone the website (under construction, will share soon), created posters, flyers, and infographics, and built a new website for the student journal (also still under construction).

In the midst of all this, I have been starting a company based in the US, so that has taken up a great deal of my free time. More information later...

Finally I'm also preparing my application for the Marshall scholarship, which is due in two days. Better get back to work!

This week is autumn break for the high school, and on October 7th I'll be flying to Svalbard for a few days!
